Diego Gonzalez – Assistant Director of Player Development
Diego, a former NYC Mayor’s Cup All-Star and collegiate player, brings extensive experience to CPDA. He is certified by USA Baseball and plays a key role in player development while coaching with 5 Star National Metro.
Angel L. Lugo – Director of Player Development
Coach Lugo, a former MLB player, founded the Cadets Player Development Academy after a successful career with the Twins, Marlins, and Blue Jays. He is certified in the Top Velocity Pitching Program and has developed multiple elite programs producing top MLB prospects.
Our Team
Mark Bonilla – Coach
Mark, a Dominican University Athletic Hall of Fame inductee and Hofstra alumnus, has successfully coached players who have gone on to professional careers and top NCAA conferences. He also serves as Director of Athletics at All Hallows HS.
Nick Scuderi – Coach
Nick, a six-year player in the Hudson Valley National Adult Baseball Association, leads CPDA’s Rookie Classes and plays an essential role in the academy’s operations, focusing on youth player development.
